Here at Galway Glamping, one of Ireland’s Glamping locations, we pride ourselves in providing a professional and flexible service to all of our customers. We can accommodate all sizes of groups and events, whether you want to celebrate a special occasion, or if you have an event that requires the unique setting of Brooklodge Demesne. Set in the historic Blake’s Estate, Ireland’s latest eco friendly outdoor event venue offers a breath-taking setting for any event. The 11 acre site is located in a special area of conservation along the banks of the beautiful Abbert River. The site lends itself to many possibilities, whether it is your wedding day or a simple celebration, Galway Glamping can offer you a package tailored to suit your needs.

The Accommodation:

5 Authentic Mongolian Yurts, 4 Log Cabins and Converted Barn, situated on a heritage site with a 15th century Tower House. All accomodation is tastefully decorated and individual. A small church has been converted as a communal area. BBQ facilities are also available.

Sleeping:
3 yurts sleep 4 (1 double bed and 2 single beds), 2 yurts sleep 6 (1 double bed and 4 single beds). 1 double bed cabin, 2 cabins with 2 single beds and 1 cabin with a double and single. The barn sleep 10, 1 double and 2 singles downstairs and 6 single beds upstairs.

The Area

Situated 25 minutes from the lively city of Galway on the western coast of Ireland, the 11 acre site also has a canal running through the grounds. Local attractions include the Cistercian Abbey of Knockmoy (in the village of Abbeyknockmoy), Knockma Hill (alleged burial site of Queen Maeve of Connacht) and Ballyglunin Station (better known as Castletown Station in the film ‘The Quiet Man’).
