Take a hike to the top of one of Dartmoor’s beautiful tors, walk through the dramatic gorge at Lydford or try surfing on the North Cornwall coast. At the end of a busy day in the countryside eat alfresco whilst watching the sun set over the Devon countryside before stepping into your private log fired hot tub to soak away the day under a starlit sky. Finally, listen to the crackling fire and enjoy a cosy night under canvas lit by candlelight from the comfort of a most wonderfully comfortable bed. What more could you want ?

Devon Yurt comprises of just two luxury yurts each set within their own private paddock and garden, offering the optimum seclusion and privacy and the opportunity to reconnect with nature. The yurts each have beautiful wooden beds made up with white company linen, Great Links, the larger of the two yurts sleeps 2 adults with up to 4 children, Little Links sleeps 2 adults with up to 2 children. Each yurt comes complete with log burners, table and chairs and kitchens area inside, a fire pit and further table outside for alfresco dining and not to mention a wonderful wood fired fresh water hot tub all to yourselves. Plus your own private loo. A separate shower room has a wonderful wet room style rain head shower overlooking Dartmoor and facilities including a fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble drier and re charging points. There is also a indoor games room with table tennis and table football and games to borrow as well as guide books and maps of the local area.

Eden Project – one of Cornwall’s top attractions only 40 min by car, walk through a tropical rainforest and temperate biome, plus Concerts in the summer

North Cornwall Coast – a multitude of stunning beaches with fantastic surf and rock pools and coastal walks just 35 min by car.

Dartmoor – climb to the top of Brentor to discover a tiny church with amazing views across the Devon countryside, find streams to paddle in, pubs to dine in and ancient standing stones, for the adventurous, take a horse ride across the moor or try one of the many cycle routes

Tavistock is an ancient stannary town with indoor markets and a farmers market on alternate saturdays, lots of great eating places including the award winning Cornish arms.
