Ecofinca – Yurt holidays in the Spanish pyrenees

Ecofinca is our off-grid, year round home with 45 acres of sustainably managed woodland and one yurt – family managed and based upon a philosophy of low impact living and minimal carbon footprint. Our beautifully hand-crafted yurt is set in a secluded corner of our private woodland. Hidden away in an intimate & idyllic setting it makes for a perfect retreat or romantic hideaway. Located in an area of natural beauty there is plenty of scope to explore the countryside on foot with marked footpaths that lead further afield.

The yurt , designed & constructed by Uzbek craftsmen , has a solid wooden floor with materials sourced from our own woodland. It is spacious and sleeps four comfortably. Bedding is provided for pleasantly cool night-time temperatures.

The site is well shaded to protect against the mid-day sun. A solar panel provides 220AC for interior & exterior lighting. The deck , alongside the yurt , consists of a well equipped kitchen – fridge , gas hob , sink with running water and a dining area with a large parasol. A Solar heater provides hot water for the shower and there is a well built compost toilet nearby. We can supply some ecological fruit & veg from our garden and groceries from local suppliers. Nearby springs supply drinking water.
