Take your holiday on a working fruit farm in the Cotswolds, this very pretty site is situated next door to Hailes Abbey ancient monument and the Cotswold Way. You cannot get more rural than this small secluded site situated amongst fruit trees with far reaching countryside views. Our site has all the facilities you need to enjoy a hassle free break.
Our site has all the facilities you need to enjoy a hassle free break, all you need to bring is clothes, food, drink and bedding. You can go fruit picking or fishing on the private half acre lake, have a coffee or even a hot meal in the Cafe if you like. We also have a well stocked local produce farm shop should have pretty much everything you need.
We can guarantee peace and tranquility, although you may be disturbed by Roe Deer, Muntjac and foxes and the sound of fruit being picked. The camp is a small group of private Bell Tents situated amongst the apple orchards, we have a communal cooking tent fitted out with wood burning stove/oven, gas rings pots, pans plates and cutlery. We now also have a separate mess tent with picnic table for all to share. There are picnic tables, games and a books to help you while away the hours and a short walk down the hill you will find the farm shop itself and a lovely traditional county tea room.
As well as the nearby ruin of Hailes Abbey (maintained by English Heritage), the campsite is surrounded by footpaths and bridleways. The Cotswold Way long distance footpath passes close by. There is a Spar shop about one mile away and, further afield, supermarkets at Cheltenham, Evesham, Broadway and Tewkesbury.
