Teglan Pods, Ciliau Aeron
Teglan Fisheries can offer overnight accommodation in our two custom-built, fully disabled-accessible sleeping pods. Located right next to our second lake, the pods are constructed of sustainable timber and are well insulated. The Pods also have heating, keeping you warm no matter what the weather! The pods also have mains electricity and lighting. There is plenty of room for four people. The layout for beds is flexible, including double and single futons.
Teglan Fishery is set in the beautiful Aeron Valley and is regularly over-flown by the stunning red kite and buzzard. The Fishery is the only one in the UK to hold a platinum disabled award for access. The Fishery has two landscaped lakes, one with 5 sub-species of Carp up to 34LB, green and golden Tench, Roach, Rudd and Bream. The second lake has 12,000 similar fish, the largest weighed is 10LB.
We are three miles from the coast and the Georgian seaside town of Aberaeron with its multi-colored houses. A little further along the coast is New Quay and Aberystwyth. The Pembrokeshire Coast is quite close and Mount Snowdon is a nice day trip.
