Somerset garden yurt and gypsy caravan
A huge spacious and luxury furnished yurt and traditional genuine gypsy caravan on an exclusive, secluded and private site that you don’t share with another group.
We offer comfortable glamping with modern amenities, providing everything you are likely to need, including logs, BBQ, all bedding, fully fitted and equipped kitchen, shower, unlimited hot water and flush toilet. We especially welcome families, plenty of safe play space for little ones, and dogs are welcome. Large barn with comfortable furnishings and log burner and outside tables and chairs, swing under willow pyramid and firepit.
We offer the perfect getaway for those who want to enjoy the simplicity of an outdoor glamping holiday with the luxury of comfortable beds and electric light. There is no ‘roughing it’ as the kitchen, shower room and loo are all modern and fully equipped.
Within the yurt there are two double futons and two single futons, and there is also space for a cot which we can provide. We provide all bedding (except for the cot) In the gypsy caravan there is a small double bed, set at waist height (steps provided) it is very cosy so we suggest for comfort that it is most suitable for petite agile people (bedding provided).
For large groups, we also allow you to pitch extra tents.
Set in its own corner of our wildflower meadow, easily accessible from the M5 and A303, we offer an ideal spot from which to explore Somerset and the surrounding counties of Devon and Dorset, or just to wind down and relax round the fire pit and gaze at the stars.
We are adjacent to the Bridgwater to Taunton Canal, offering walking and cycling as well as birdwatching and fishing right on the doorstep. We are within easy access to the large towns of Bristol, Wells, Bath and Exeter. Glastonbury and the shopping complex at Street are approximately half an hour away. The spectacular Cheddar Gorge and caves about 40 minutes away. Dunster with it’s historic castle, and many other National Trust properties are within easy reach. The West Somerset Railway is about 20 minutes away with steam trains stopping at the coastal towns of Watchet and Minehead. We are also within easy reach of the Jurassic coast, Sidmouth and Lyme Regis. For walkers and nature lovers we are close to the Mendips, Quantocks, Somerset levels, and many other places of outstanding natural beauty.
