Bem-vindo at Quinta da Cumieira Bed & Breakfast. If you are looking for a unique rural luxury glamping holiday with a pinch of adventure, nature and romance then you will love our 2 custom designed safari lodge tents accommodation and the amazing setting between the vines. A wonderful ‘Night Under Stars Experience’. Set in 31000 m2 our wine producing farm is located in the ‘vinho verde wine’ region in the Northern part of unspoilt Portugal.

Each accommodation is situated on its own vineyard terrace overlooking the beautiful surroundings. The canvas rooms are spacious (60m2) with a private veranda, comfortable box spring beds and your own en-suite bathroom with eco toiletries, fluffy bathrobes and slippers. Complete with running (hot) water and electricity, a well stocked minibar, complimentary tea and Nespresso coffee making facilities and free WIFI. Both accommodations are luxuriously furnished in safari style with African art objects we took back from our journeys. Cool nights are guaranteed by the altitude (500 mtr) and location (close to the river). Experience gorgeous nights where you can listen to the river and wake to singing birds. After a good night’s sleep enjoy the fresh mountain air with a cup of hot tea or coffee on your veranda.

Every morning we serve a delicious a-la-carte breakfast at the pool house or on the outside terrace using fresh, locally and homemade produce wherever possible, all make for a meal that will set you up for whatever you choose to do. The pool area is a lovely place to unwind. If it is getting too hot around the large swimming pool (15x4mtrs.) then a dive in the river might be a good alternative to cool off. Experience the ultimate relaxation in the Finnish sauna, enjoy a relaxing massage or a private yoga class. Afterwards you can relax and sit around the firepit with a glass of our own ‘Vinho Verde’ wine. Enjoy the star-filled sky and soak in the wonderful evenings and peaceful sounds of nature.

Explore fascinating medieval villages, historical castles and spectacular mountains. Visit the cultural cities of Braga, Guimarães and Porto. Nearby, the Costa Verde coast is loved for its long stretches of white sand beaches. Get back to nature as you hike or bike through the breathtaking scenery. Porto, the International airport, is just one hour drive from our luxury Bed & Breakfast. The autostrada is a 15 minute drive away and provides easy access to all kind of day trips. An ideal base for touring and exploring this beautiful and unspoilt part of Northern Portugal.
