Bow Top – Glamping, Lake District

Come and stay with us and experience a different way of camping in our original 1960’s Bow Top. You will find our Bow Top offer’s you peace and tranquillity, along with stunning views of open countryside.

Our Bow Top sleeps two, in a cosy traditional extending double bed, keeping you warm is a beautiful Queen Anne wood buring stove, which you may light, (wood is provided) Here you can sit and relax and remember what life is really all about, Away from the stresses and strains of life.

Traditionally cooking and washing was all done outside, just outside your Bow Top is an area suitable for you to have your own Barbeque or use your camping stove, plus your own Log seating and table area.

Shower’s and toilet facilities plus a wash-up area are just a short distance away from the Bow Top, Electric points are in the washroom for your hairdryer, razor etc.

Our Bow Top is sited in it’s own area of our campsite, Below the Bow Top is an area which you may reserve for your own family and friends…They are more than welcome to join you and experience the magic of “Bow Top Glamping”.

When packing for your Bow Top holiday, you will need to pack everything as you would for a camping holiday, but leave the tent behind.

Dogs are welcome, maximum of two. £5.00 per night per dog.

We take bookings for our Bow Top for minimum of two nights.

The Area

Black Beck Farm is a small family run farm, situated in the quiet village of Bouth, just south of Grizedale Forest in the heart of the Lake District, Nestled between Lake Windermere and Coniston Water and surrounded by fields, fells and woodland.

Bouth offers peace and tranquillity, combine this with some of the best Lake District attractions, popular market towns, and quaint Lakeland villages, Bouth is an ideal holiday loction for all the family, young and old.

Within easy walking distance is the White Hart Inn, the centre of village life, serving excellent Bar and Restaurant meals and some of the finest Real Ales in the Country.
